IRS-P2 was the first satellite successfully orbited onboard by the second developmental flight of PSLV. IRS-P2 carried two solid state push broom cameras, Linear Imaging Self Scanner LISS-II A and LISS II B with spatial resolutions of 36.25 metres and a swath of about 74 km each.
